Starting at 9AM

The Montevallo Jazz Band under the direction of Brian Hodges, the Director of Bands for Montevallo High School and Middle School, will be back to open Tinglewood Festival with some cool jazz tunes to showcase the local band members' talents. Come out and support the local musical youth in Montevallo.

Swanglish is an intercultural supergroup that organically formed through a holistic belief in self-care, inclusiveness, and collaboration. Their music blends East African and Western styles, creating a unique fusion of Afro-jazz, neo-soul, funk, pop, gospel, and more. The name "Swanglish" combines Swahili and English, reflecting their ethos of uniting diverse cultures through music. Swanglish's vision is to create profound music that transcends languages and cultures, and its mission is to collaborate with fellow artists while serving and entertaining both local and international communities

The Allen Tolbert Unit has decades of professional experience. The Allen Tolbert Unit is an acoustic band with influences ranging from the Bluegrass sounds of Alison Krauss, Tony Rice, Ricky Skaggs, Del McCoury and Bill Monroe to the Jazz sounds of John Coltrane, David Grisman and Miles Davis to the newer sounds of The Avett Brothers, Nickel Creek, Old Crow Medicine Show and The Punch Brothers. Founded in 2009, the band has had the honor to play at many notable events such as the legendary Acoustic Cafe, Tuscaloosa Bicentennial, the Birmingham Folk Festival and the Briarwood Sportsmen’s’ Blast. The group also appeared on The Lost Child radio broadcast on Birmingham Mountain Radio. The Allen Tolbert Unit is known for its rich musical heritage.

Michael Warren’s unwavering journey in country music has given him the chance to bring new fans into the genre that he’s loved since he was a kid growing up in Alabama. And being named by Spotify as a 2024 Artist to Watch is an opportunity for Michael to reach more people than ever.

Warren reimagines his contemporary influences like Rascal Flatts and John Mayer influenced by an upbringing that exposed him to equal parts Southern Hip hop and R&B icons to classics like James Taylor and Garth Brooks.
